Card and Coin magic
So recently I have been really into card tricks.
So I went and got 2 decks of cards.
The Red and Blue Bicycle Dragon back playing cards from Wallgreens.
I started doing some basic card tricks from You Tube, Mismag822 on You Tube is a very good card trick teacher, be sure to check him out if you like card tricks.
I learned some of the self working card tricks, which I liked because u didn't need any sleight of hand for those :)
Then it was new years, so we went to Wallgreens again and I got a deck of Bicycle Arch Angel cards.
I brought them to the beach to see fireworks and then of course I dropped them :(
They were never the same from then but they still handle pretty good, but I have to say I like the Dragon backs better.
Then I found a deck of silver Bicycle Rider backs for 3 bucks at Walmart they also came with a double backer and I was really excited.
Then I went to Sam's Club and found a bundle of 12 red and blue Bicycle Rider back decks for 15 dollars.
After a while I decided to get The Bicycle Black tiger and Shadow Master legacy edition playing cards.
They were by far the best cards yet.
They both came with a double backer!
The fans were awesome.
But then I brought them to a camp trip and dropped then in the sand and they got ruined.
I mean they are still thin and good for tricks but they are clumpy for the fans.
I did a lot of card tricks including David Blaine's amazing card trick that made him a millionare, (if you go to Card Shuffler 99 on youtube you can see the tutorial for that card trick there) the two card monte, and a few other really good ones.
I got a few good card trick books that help with sleight of hand and tricks.
Then I got into coin magic after watching Ryan Hayashi's ultimate 4 card matrix which you can see right here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKQ_tvbrDQQ&t=119s just copy and paste it :)
I found out how to do the four coin matrix but not like Hayashi.
You can see it if you go to Instagram and search @_towerlondon, I also have a few good soccer plays there.
I found out about a few other really cool coin tricks like making it vanish and making it reappear.
The next deck of cards I want to get is the Virtuoso, everyone says it is the best for cardistry.

Things I studied and did this year
MATH
This year we read from The Beginners Guide to Contructing the Universe and we learned how you could make all the different shapes and numbers starting from a circle.
I also read Mathematicians are People Too with my mom and did logic puzzles with my dad.
I finished all my math facts and Khan Academy through 7th grade so I started learning Algebra this year using the Dragon Box app.
One thing I really liked learning which has some math in it is how to solve a Rubiks cube. You need to use algorithms and I learned to solve a 3x3x3 cube, a 3x3x4 cube and a gear cube where the corners spin.
I also started a business selling soccer cleats on eBay and had to keep track of how much I was buying them for and paying to ship them and how much money I was making. I got to open a bank account too where I can put my money I get from selling cleats.
LANGUAGE
The big series I read this year was The Lord of the Rings. It was long but also interesting and I wanted to know how it was going to end.
I liked the adventure parts and the descriptions were good but sometimes a little long.
I also read Dragon's Watch the sequel to Fable Haven. I can't wait for more books to come out by Brandon Mull.
I finished reading the Book of Mormon this year and as a family we read 22 classics. My sister posted them on her blog.
I really liked Mark Twain's books and Robin Hood was pretty good too.
SOCIAL STUDIES
This year I finishd the Story of the World Book 3 about early Modern Times and learned about all different parts of the world like the Renaissance and also Japanese Samuraia and the Native Americans.
We got to travel as a family and I saw Plymouth Rock and Plimoth Plantation which was cool since it was just like olden times.
I also liked seeing all the differnt rocks in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History since I have a rock collection.
During a tournament in Maryland we visited an old Canal between Maryland and Virginia that takes you to a waterfall. I had to be quick because I had a game to get to, but it was still fun to see.
We also visited the Iron Works in Saugus and saw how they made iron using the river back then. The bellows were really big and cool to watch how the water would turn them.
SCIENCE
This year I learned about physics and centripetal force with fidget spinners how they can stay on your finger when turned if spinning fast.
I also learned a lot of new card tricks, some of which use illusions and other that use math to guess the right card.
My brother and I did chemistry experiments with Ph testing and acid base reactions. We even made the lid blow off a milk jug.
My favorite science right now is baking and this year I made from scratch croissants, cheesecake, truffles, chocolate cake with ganache and bread (all very healthy using honey instead of sugar).
This spring I helped my grandpa plant a gardent. We planted the seeds inside first in March and then moved them outside in May. I tried planting wheat seeds outside in the ground but the chickens kept eating them.
ART
Origami is still my favorite kind of art and this year I learned how to make 3D origami of dragons, animals, stars and people which look really cool
I had to order special tissue foil paper from Europe which took like six weeks to get here, but I loved the feel of it and how well you can fold very detailed designs.
I sold a piece I made at the NAA budding artist show which used driftwood to make a Christmas Tree with a starfish on top.
I also did some drawing this year and studied Renaissance Art History with my mom.
MUSIC
I'm still playing piano, some classical but a lot of popular songs I like and am learning to play by ear a little.
I figured out some Adele songs on my own and I also learned 12 different Christmas songs.
EXERCISE
I learned yoga this year and did some swimming in the winter and tennis in the warmer weather.
If you read my blog you will see soccer is still my favorite thing. This year I played with the GPS MA State Elite team which was the best team in New England for my age.
We won all the tournaments her locally and in New Jersey. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot about soccer this last year.
Next year I will be joining the New England Revolution Academy team which I am really excited for.

Experience at GPS Bayern ID camp
So me and a few other kids from my team got chosen for this ID camp in Maine.
We checked in and I was in a room with one of the kids from my team but the white team.
We had a training session that night and it was very buggy.
Everyone got at least 3 bites.
We went to bed that night and I set an alarm for 7:45 am.
I told Viktor (my roommate) that if i didn't wake up and he thought it was time to wake up, that he should wake me up. My phone didn't make and noise, it only buzzed so I might not have waked up on time.
I went to sleep, then I was awoken by a knocking on my door, I said "Viktor?" in a very tired voice.
Viktor said "Yeah" In a tired tone as well.
I told him "It's 6 O'clock!"
He swore and went back to bed.
After that I woke up at 7:30 and got ready for breakfast.
The next day was tough and the dribbling was really tiring.
Then that night some of the Maine kids were doing porno but I played soccer with a mini ball in the hall with Oscar and a few other kids.
The next morning for breakfast ABG had 20 Cherros or whatever those sweet rolls are called.
We had the same intense dribbling and then we had some fun.
We did two passes and then a lay off then a shot.
Then we had lunch and then a FC Bayern workshop where we asked questions about Bayern Munich.
Then we had evening activities and we wore the Nemeziz shoes.
I won the dribbling and juggling contest.
Then before we went to bed that night I did card tricks on a few kids including Viktor, Alex, and Oscar.
They were astonished.
Then I left for church on Sunday morning and came back for the games.
I scored 3 goals one of them a header.
Then we had closing ceremony and I got a soccer ball for winning the juggling contest.
And a shirt for winning the dribbling contest.
They gave everyone an evaluation and I got two excellent's on attack and two on defense.
They said I was "Very talented, Attributes to be an excellent player".
