The adventure to Latitude

So normal day and all but then out of the blue we decide to go to Latitude to play soccer.
Now you might be thinking why would I all of a sudden want to go to Latitude to play soccer, well is starts like this.
London, Skye(with an E at the end, she always makes a big deal if someone spells it without an E), Ian,(who were home taught) and Mom were off to a trip to go to play soccer at the Triton high school. There was snow outside and London's breath fogged up the window he was looking out of, he really hoped that there wouldn't be snow on Triton's turf soccer field so he could use his new ball he had just got from Dick's sporting goods store. He was twelve years old and loved playing soccer, his older brother Ian was fourteen years old and he really liked drawing and was really good at it, (He also played keeper for when  London wanted to practice his shot) Skye on the other hand had a passion for animals! She had 87 to be precise  (47 of which were her chickens) She had chickens, bunnies, geckos, birds you name it (she was also ten years old the youngest in the family). And their mom was a very nice woman who had a knack for cooking the best meals, and also was a professional photographer! She sold her art for quite a bit of money. "Were a couple of minutes away kids" said Mom "London you might want to get your shoes on now" she said while narrowly avoiding a crazy driver that was on his phone, "I already have them on mom" said London who had a fair amount of soccer shoes. They drove up to the soccer field and to their utter dismay the field was covered in snow. "Noo!" cried London he felt awful he had waited all morning to come here and now it was covered in snow. "Well to bad guys," said mom "Let's go swing by and get the raw milk for Colby's farm" (they were a very healthy family and they liked raw milk a lot!) "But mom" whined London "Can we please go to Latitude then?" (latitude was forty minutes from their house and it was almost lunchtime so everyone was pretty hungry) "Honey I am really hungry right now, maybe tomorrow" said mom who was truly hungry and wanted to go home. London just sat in his seat folded his arms and didn't say a word.

Once they had arrived to Colby's farm and got the raw milk London's toes were getting pretty cold and he kept them by the heater of the car. On their way home though London kept persisting to go to Latitude, but mom kept saying that "We don't have membership there and I wont just drive for forty minutes just for them to say, you don't have membership you can't go play" So London had to settle for playing at Triton in the snow for half of an hour, even though Skye kept saying "Mommy please I don't want to go please!!". They went back to the high school to play soccer in the snow, now you might think this sounds fun (and it is with snow boots and snow pants) but London had been wanting to do knuckle shots on a perfect turf surface, so when he walked up to the snow and found that when the ball rolled on the wet snow it stuck to the ball and it was very heavy and he couldn't shoot it it was not fun at all. When he walked back to the car where Skye and Mom waited with the heat running.London had Ian put the ball in the back of the car and slammed the cars door when he went in, he was really vexed at how bad it had been.

The atmosphere in the car on the way back home was full of tension because of London's bad mood. When they got home London didn't do much and just wanted the next day to come. When dad came home he was not as happy as he usually was. When he went to bed that night all he could think about was hitting the perfect knuckle balls at Latitude, his mom had told him that he could go to Latitude if he did his touches routine that morning.

When he woke up the next morning his clock showed 3:24 AM "Seriously" thought London and went back to bed but this time set an alarm on his clock for 7 AM (he could do this because he was home taught) and went back to bed.

DING!DING!DING!DING! DING!DING!DING!DING! DING!DING!DING!DING! was the sound that the alarm clock made at exactly 7:00 AM London jumped out of bed and ran downstairs as if it were Christmas morning. Mom and Ian were out running.
London opened the door of the kitchen and a gust of wind caught him by surprise and blew him back into the house, it was freezing cold and the door banged against the wall "Crapit" yelled London who had fallen hard on his back.He rushed to shut the door before it hit the wall again. He wondered how on earth Mom and Ian were running in this gelid weather. He went to the room to do his touches and started doing them with some music. He did his Bobbles, his Toe taps, his Triangle touches, and his passing. Once he was done he had that good feeling once you have done something hard and you can go and do the thing that you really wanted to do after, like going to do knuckle balls at latitude for example. SO they ate breakfast and mom called Latitude to see if anyone else was playing there so we could go play. The lady said "Oh no, no one is playing at this moment" how she said that it sounded like no one was playing but someone could pop up in a few minutes and start playing there. So mom said "Has anyone booked the field? Because if they haven't then we would like to go play there" "No, no one has booked it" said the ladies voice through the phone "do you want to book it?"
Mom said No but the lady insisted "No one is playing there you can book it" so mom just hung up on her. London started laughing and said "Atta' girl mom" they did a fist bump and did that thing with you fingers from big hero six.

Later that day they were driving to latitude and making the plan on how to get into latitude without them asking "do you have your card with you?" London thought back to when they had played at latitude on a Friday. They had been carrying soccer bags and looked pretty professional at the time. They had gotten through without a word from the lady who was at the front desk.
They decided that they were going to go in with the soccer bag, then if they asked them if they had there card we would just say "oh we have soccer" So when they got there they put the balls in the bag and the cleats. then they tried to walk in with someone else but there was no one else around. So they braved it and walked into the doors. Skye was nervous and clung to mom. The warm air hit their faces and everyone sighed(It was really cold outside)"The lady at the desk turned toward us with a red hot stare" London later recounted mom casually said "we're here for soccer" the lady's stare changed to a nicer face and said quickly "OK" though she looked a little unsure. We rushed up the stairs and once we were far enough away that no one could hear us we couldn't hide our jubilation, Skye was the first to shout a cry of triumph everyone was so joyful! London got to the doors first and opened them. He walked inside, it was a pretty good sized field with U-12 soccer nets to shoot on.

Chess

So I recently got really into chess. I started getting into it more when my dads family came over for thanksgiving. Now since then I have been watching a lot YouTube videos on how to checkmate opponents quicker and a lot of traps. I try to use some of these tactics from YouTube vs the computer but then they just do a different move that was not in the YouTube  tutorial. So I keep hitting the undo button until they do what I want them to do:)
I really like chess and I want to be able to beat the computer on 7 in 13 weeks.
I hope I can do it it's going to be hard and fun though.
I really like putting like the computers horse in danger and then having him run away and I say "That's what I thought!" :)
I also like putting the computer in a trap with my queen, I put his king in check he moves away and then I kill his Rook.
I am going to get a Chess set for Christmas It is going to be awesome. I am going to play a lot of chess over the rest of the winter.
I also like doing the four move and two move checkmate.
The two move checkmate usually doesn't work unless your opponent is very weak.
Basically you have to be the white pieces so they move first. They move their pawn to G4 then you move your pawn to D6. Then they would have to move the other pawn to F3. In which you would move your queen to H4 and you have your 2 move checkmate.
For the 4 move checkmate it's easier to do if you are white. So you would move your pawn to E4, in which they would usually play E5, so then you would move your bishop to 4C .Then they would take there horse out onto C6, then you would play your queen to F3 to attack the weak F7 square, then if they were not careful and they just moved a pawn to D6 then you would just move your queen to F7 and it is checkmate. I really enjoy chess and hope to get really good at it.

LionBoy

So I recently read this book called LionBoy.
At first it wasn't that good and it took a few chapters to actually get into it, but when I did it was hard to put down!
So it's about this kid named Charlie who has an ability to speak cat! He has a mom and dad that are very smart and have a room full of cures for everything.
One day his parents are kidnapped and a kid from his town named Rafi says he was goign to take care of him now.
Then he goes on an epic chase on trying to rescue his parents.
The cats help him on the way to Paris and bring him and send letters for him to give to his parents.
He goes onto a ship that has a circus.
He meets some lions on the ship and he becomes the lion trainers assistant.
Then he talks to the lions and has them help him to get away from this circus ship and to go find his parents that were by chance heading for Venice, (he was going to Venice too before he went to Paris.)
Then he gets away from where the circus was going on and he ran away with the Lions.
But Rafi happened to be there as well and he ran after them, one of the lionesses bit him and threw him into the water.
Then they got onto a train and he put the lions on top of it.
Then he finds that the kind of Bulgaria is on the train.
He turns out to be a very kind person.
He found out that there were lions on his train but he was nice and asked Charlie what he was going to do with them.
Charlie told him his whole story(leaving out the part about him being able to speak cat.)
The king got his adviser Edward into the room and Edward told him that his parents knew how to cure asthma and the people who kidnapped his parents didn't want everyone to know how to cure it because then they wouldn't make any money anymore, so they captured his parents.
I really liked this book and look forward to reading the other two books in this Trilogy :)

Echo audio-book

So we have recently been traveling a lot with soccer and needed to be doing something in the car.
Read a book? Eh it is way to hard and u get tired after a while, but listen to a book? Yes, it is perfect, it doesn't take much energy and it is great for everybody to be part of it.

So we got the audio-book called Echo.                                             it started out awesome with a little boy that found a book and it turned out to be a book that the things inside it like the 3 sisters were in real life. Then it goes to a composer and a few other people and they all love music, they play the Harmonica. It kept on stopping on the worst but very interesting parts, like Fredrick's father just went to the natzi camp when you have to work for your life. Then on a little girl when she just finds out that a reporter comes to home and her brother is in the war. And someone else falls of a tree and stops breathing. But in the end it wrapped everying up and said that all of the characters come together and start an orchestra and the little girl (that is now big) played the Harmonica, and everything works out great. This book actually inspired me to start playing the Harmonica and I now know how to play the song happy birthday.

recent things

So I have a couple games this weekend in New York with the New England Revolution youth academy squad. We have to leave our house at like 4 thirty to make it at six Thirty at Gillete. It is going to be crazy, we are going on a bus playing at 11 then staying at a hotel then sleeping then playing in the morning and then going home.

We went to the beach today from 11 to 4.It was really fun we played in the waves and I read out on the sun and we ate some good food.We drew a lot at the beach with some sticks.

I have been doing some algebra on Khan and am getting a little better. Some of the problems are hard and me and my brother argue.

I was doing some history with the book and it was pretty fun trying to memories it then right it down. I did pretty good, I am reading Harry potter again and also The series by Lloyd Alexander like the Black Cauldron and the High King. They are really fun reads.

PES 2018

Ok so I just pre-ordered Pes 2018 and I got it yesterday (the day it came out).
It is just like Pes 2017 when I got it, the players didn't run as fast, the screen was zoomed out more, and it was just better altogether.
I think I will be able to learn more tactics now because it is not as like glitchy, it is a lot more realistic.
The passing is a lot better like not every pass is on the ground, and I like how the graphics are.
I got Luka Modric for the all black ball spin, he plays centre midfield for Real Madrid.
I also got Wilfried Zaha from crystal palace.
I haven't played a lot but I think it will be awesome.
I am going to try to get 50 passes and then score, that would be awesome, I also got Diego Lopez in goal, Then I got Javier Mascherano, who plays for FC Barcelona. So then I got Luisao  left center back with Mascherano as the right centre back.
Then I got a really bad left back and I don't know his name, Then I got Danilo at right back. Then I got a really bad defensive midfielder, then Arturo Vidal and Modric in the centre midfield (Vidal is on loan).
Then A silver centre forward, Usain Bolt LWF and Zaha RWF.                                                         I am going to try doing some penetrating passes and getting numbers up.
In PES 2017 All I did was run up With Carrasco and then have Ibra head it in.                             I think Pes 2018 will teach a lot more tactics.

I am going to play right now:)

Ping Pong and other stuff

I really like Ping-Pong (or Table Tennis.)
It is like tennis put it is so much funner, anyone can do it.
You just hit the ball over the net with your paddle.
I am pretty good, I love doing fast top-spin hits because you can hit them hard and it dips at the last second and catches the other player off guard.
It is very contagious too and when you start it is very hard to stop.
I really like watching the Olympic ping-pong players play!
They are sooo good!
They play like 20 feet from the net and still hit it in.
My favorite Ping-Pong player is Timo Boll he is the German superstar! He is ambidextrous which means he uses both hands!

I also recently got a new pair of soccer cleats, the all new Nemeziz 17+ 360 agility FG/AG sz 9 in the blackout colorway.
I really like them I like the idea of the no lace system, It is a lot better than the purcontrol.
Also the soccer season started with the revs so that is going to be a lot of fun.

I really had fun reading about the Olympics and then watching what happened.
Like the Dick Fosbury flop with the high jumping,
The game when Rulon Gardner beat the best extra heavy weight wrestler named Aleksandr Karelin, That was awesome and really fun too watch.

New England Revolution youth academy

So I have been playing with GPS Npl red 2005 state elite.
It has been good but the competition has not been the best.
All of the best players go to academy so the best competition is at the academy.
So we decided to go to Seacoast, because it was close to us and I knew a couple kids there. But we would still tryout for the revs. We would say to the revs "thank you but we are playing with seacoast XD LOL" So we tried out for the Seacoast but I was sick that day, Daddy gave me a blessing and then I played great. The coach Peter Decker really liked me and said that I could play for the Seacoast academy. We were very happy and we nearly signed a contract with Seacoast but wait... let me go back in time a little, Okay so we go to the Revs RTC session and I play pretty good, I did one really nice slide tackle and the coaches liked it. They invited me to the next RTC session and I played center back again. I had a really good driven ball that was on the ground, Gary Hall said "Nice job London" Then towards the ending the striker was on a break away and I did an awesome slide tackle I made the ball go out of bounds so the team could get back in positions. Then after that the coaches told everyone that they would watch them play that weekend in the games to have another look at them play. So we got in the car and then we saw a kid carrying bags with his father and bringing them to the coaches! We laughed are guts out. Then we went home. A few days later after the weekend games which I played amazingly. I almost signed the contract with Seacoast. But then we got a call from the Revs saying Ur son has been chosen on the revs team. We made a big decision about driving 2 hrs  to get to practice 3 times per week. But we decided that was here we needed to be for me to be a better player. So we made the sacrifice to go to the Revs. We apoligized to Seacoast for not going there, and they said that they understood. So we just went to the Revs game and we got all of are equipment. I got my head shot too. We played street soccer with Quinn, Buccers, Andres, and Trevor. It was fun I got about 5 megs. Andres got a double meg on a random couple walking by! Then we watched The Revs play the La galaxy The revs won 4 - 3 it was an awesome game. Bunbury scored 2 goals in 2 minutes!!

Card and Coin magic

So recently I have been really into card tricks.
So I went and got 2 decks of cards.
The Red and Blue Bicycle Dragon back playing cards from Wallgreens.
I started doing some basic card tricks from You Tube, Mismag822 on You Tube is a very good card trick teacher, be sure to check him out if you like card tricks.
I learned some of the self working card tricks, which I liked because u didn't need any sleight of hand for those :)
Then it was new years, so we went to Wallgreens again and I got a deck of Bicycle Arch Angel cards.
I brought them to the beach to see fireworks and then of course I dropped them :(
They were never the same from then but they still handle pretty good, but I have to say I like the Dragon backs better.
Then I found a deck of silver Bicycle Rider backs for 3 bucks at Walmart they also came with a double backer and I was really excited.
Then I went to Sam's Club and found a bundle of 12 red and blue Bicycle Rider back decks for 15 dollars.
After a while I decided to get The Bicycle Black tiger and Shadow Master legacy edition playing cards.
They were by far the best cards yet.
They both came with a double backer!
The fans were awesome.
But then I brought them to a camp trip and dropped then in the sand and they got ruined.
I mean they are still thin and good for tricks but they are clumpy for the fans.
I did a lot of card tricks including David Blaine's amazing card trick that made him a millionare, (if you go to Card Shuffler 99 on youtube you can see the tutorial for that card trick there) the two card monte, and a few other really good ones.
I got a few good card trick books that help with sleight of hand and tricks.
Then I got into coin magic after watching Ryan Hayashi's ultimate 4 card matrix which you can see right here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKQ_tvbrDQQ&t=119s just copy and paste it :)
I found out how to do the four coin matrix but not like Hayashi.
You can see it if you go to Instagram and search @_towerlondon, I also have a few good soccer plays there.
I found out about a few other really cool coin tricks like making it vanish and making it reappear.
The next deck of cards I want to get is the Virtuoso, everyone says it is the best for cardistry.

Things I studied and did this year

MATH

This year we read from The Beginners Guide to Contructing the Universe and we learned how you could make all the different shapes and numbers starting from a circle.

I also read Mathematicians are People Too with my mom and did logic puzzles with my dad.

I finished all my math facts and Khan Academy through 7th grade so I started learning Algebra this year using the Dragon Box app.

One thing I really liked learning which has some math in it is how to solve a Rubiks cube. You need to use algorithms and I learned to solve a 3x3x3 cube, a 3x3x4 cube and a gear cube where the corners spin.

I also started a business selling soccer cleats on eBay and had to keep track of how much I was buying them for and paying to ship them and how much money I was making. I got to open a bank account too where I can put my money I get from selling cleats.

LANGUAGE

The big series I read this year was The Lord of the Rings. It was long but also interesting and I wanted to know how it was going to end.
I liked the adventure parts and the descriptions were good but sometimes a little long.

I also read Dragon's Watch the sequel to Fable Haven. I can't wait for more books to come out by Brandon Mull.

I finished reading the Book of Mormon this year and as a family we read 22 classics. My sister posted them on her blog.

I really liked Mark Twain's books and Robin Hood was pretty good too.

SOCIAL STUDIES

This year I finishd the Story of the World Book 3 about early Modern Times and learned about all different parts of the world like the Renaissance and also Japanese Samuraia and the Native Americans.

We got to travel as a family and I saw Plymouth Rock and Plimoth Plantation which was cool since it was just like olden times.

I also liked seeing all the differnt rocks in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History since I have a rock collection.

During a tournament in Maryland we visited an old Canal between Maryland and Virginia that takes you to a waterfall. I had to be quick because I had a game to get to, but it was still fun to see.
We also visited the Iron Works in Saugus and saw how they made iron using the river back then. The bellows were really big and cool to watch how the water would turn them.

SCIENCE

This year I learned about physics and centripetal force with fidget spinners how they can stay on your finger when turned if spinning fast.
I also learned a lot of new card tricks, some of which use illusions and other that use math to guess the right card.

My brother and I did chemistry experiments with Ph testing and acid base reactions. We even made the lid blow off a milk jug.

My favorite science right now is baking and this year I made from scratch croissants, cheesecake, truffles, chocolate cake with ganache and bread (all very healthy using honey instead of sugar).

This spring I helped my grandpa plant a gardent. We planted the seeds inside first in March and then moved them outside in May. I tried planting wheat seeds outside in the ground but the chickens kept eating them.

ART

Origami is still my favorite kind of art and this year I learned how to make 3D origami of dragons, animals, stars and people which look really cool
I had to order special tissue foil paper from Europe which took like six weeks to get here, but I loved the feel of it and how well you can fold very detailed designs.

I sold a piece I made at the NAA budding artist show which used driftwood to make a Christmas Tree with a starfish on top.

I also did some drawing this year and studied Renaissance Art History with my mom.

MUSIC
I'm still playing piano, some classical but a lot of popular songs I like and am learning to play by ear a little.

I figured out some Adele songs on my own and I also learned 12 different Christmas songs.

EXERCISE

I learned yoga this year and did some swimming in the winter and tennis in the warmer weather.

If you read my blog you will see soccer is still my favorite thing. This year I played with the GPS MA State Elite team which was the best team in New England for my age.
We won all the tournaments her locally and in New Jersey. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot about soccer this last year.

Next year I will be joining the New England Revolution Academy team which I am really excited for.

Experience at GPS Bayern ID camp

So me and a few other kids from my team got chosen for this ID camp in Maine.

We checked in and I was in a room with one of the kids from my team but the white team.

We had a training session that night and it was very buggy.

Everyone got at least 3 bites.

We went to bed that night and I set an alarm for 7:45 am.

I told Viktor (my roommate) that if i didn't wake up and he thought it was time to wake up, that he should wake me up. My phone didn't make and noise, it only buzzed so I might not have waked up on time.

I went to sleep, then I was awoken by a knocking on my door, I said "Viktor?" in a very tired voice.

Viktor said "Yeah" In a tired tone as well.

I told him "It's 6 O'clock!"

He swore and went back to bed.

After that I woke up at 7:30 and got ready for breakfast.

The next day was tough and the dribbling was really tiring.

Then that night some of the Maine kids were doing porno but I played soccer with a mini ball in the hall with Oscar and a few other kids.

The next morning for breakfast ABG had 20 Cherros or whatever those sweet rolls are called.

We had the same intense dribbling and then we had some fun.

We did two passes and then a lay off then a shot.

Then we had lunch and then a FC Bayern workshop where we asked questions about Bayern Munich.

Then we had evening activities and we wore the Nemeziz shoes.

I won the dribbling and juggling contest.

Then before we went to bed that night I did card tricks on a few kids including Viktor, Alex, and Oscar.

They were astonished.

Then I left for church on Sunday morning and came back for the games.

I scored 3 goals one of them a header.

Then we had closing ceremony and I got a soccer ball for winning the juggling contest.

And a shirt for winning the dribbling contest.

They gave everyone an evaluation and I got two excellent's on attack and two on defense.

They said I was "Very talented, Attributes to be an excellent player".

Wayne Rooney soccer training

So I recently found this awesome five star Wayne Rooney training.

It is really fun and tiring.

They have five days of workout.

Day 1 Dribbling and Turning.

Day 2 Ball Control

Day 3 Running With Ball and Finishing

Day 4 Passing and Receiving

Day 5 Shooting

So far I have done Day 1, 2, and 3.
I like this workout because it helps your technical skills while also helping stamina and running with the ball when you are tired.
I am positive that this will help me get better over the summer break and that I will be fit and great on the ball when I start playing with the Revs.

New cleats and Academy soccer

So as you know Right now I have a pair of Ace 16+ Purecontrols but today there was this really awesome deal on soccer cleats.
You could get the Ace 17+ Purecontrols that are usually $300 for $158!
I thought this was awesome. I told my dad.
He said that I didn't need those and that I should get a leather pair of boots to try out.
I looked for one and I came up with the Nike Tiempo legend 6.
A kangaroo leather upper with a good softness to it.
I really liked it, they cost $210 usually but I found them for $120.
We got them with the Goal Club Membership for 20 bucks and overall it came to $130 with free shipping.
I recently made the Revolution Academy 05 team.
I thought these shoes would be great because they are for center backs or defensive midfielders. I play both positions.
I think that academy is better than club because all the best players from club go to academy so you wont have that much competition if you stay club.
One problem with the academy though is that if you come off the field you don't go back on.
So if you want more playing time you have to be the best on the team.
I think I will get plenty minutes because I will be playing center back and they usually don't sub out center backs.
It will be fun because a few of the kids from my academy team will go to the Revs so I will know a few kids there.

PES 2017

So I got Pes 2017 this Christmas.
It is ten times better than PES 2016.
The graphics are better the field is bigger and the soccer just looks better.
I started my club and did a few spins on one of my first spins I got Willian! (actually my sister did the spin)
an 87 Black ball.
Now my team is like one of the best teams in the world.
This is what the best starting 11 look like on my myclub in pes 2017.

Z. Ibrahimovic                    A. Correa
Ibra #9 rating is 92 black ball      Correa #10 rating is 85 silver ball

L. Messi                                I. Rakatic                                           Willian
Messi #11 rating is 91 black ball left or 97       Rakatic  #8 rating is 88 black ball            Willian #7 rating is 90 black ball

N'zonzi
N'zonzi #6 rating is 86 gold ball

A. Kolorov          Barzagli                               Virgil van dyk     D. Alves
Kolorov #3 rating is 83 gold ball   Barzagli #5 rating is 85 gold ball    Virgil #4 rating is 83 gold ball  Dani #2 Rating is 86 gold ball

P.Cech
Petr #1 rating is 87 black ball

So as you can see this is a very good team.
I also have a lot of subs like F. Totti 84 gold ball, Y. Carrasco 86 gold ball, Azpiliqueta 83 gold ball, P. Countinho 85 gold ball, and E. Benega 87 black ball.

I have a few more but I wont say them all now.
I have recently been doing spins on the level fifty spanish league and english league.
That is how correa is 85 silver ball and N'zonzi is 86 gold ball.
It is very hard to get black balls.
My most recent black ball was Ivan rakatic and he was from a glitch so yeah its really hard.
My stargety is basically to play threw balls to the strikers then have them lay it off so the center mids can play through balls to the wings, then the wings cross it in or lay it off for the fullbacks to cross.
When I don't have the ball I go full out pressure and when I win possession I counterattack.
But when I put Sim matches on they don't high press so they let the other team beat them:(.
The three players that would make my team a lot better are David Luiz 82 gold ball centerback.
Paul Pogba 89 black ball center mid my favorite player:).
And CR7 93 black ball left wing forward.
And if possible I would like a black ball legend.

Planting wheat grass in my backyard

So we have recently been doing some gardening.
My grandpa built some raised bed gardens and filled them with dirt.
We put some garlic, onions, kale, and strawberries.
We water them every day and I dig up worms from the ground and we put them in the raised bed.
It is awesome to see them dig themselves under the dirt.
They have 5 hearts and poop out dirt that they have digested inside themselves that is very good for the soil.
They are very important for gardening.
So here is the story I am going to tell about planting wheat grass in my backyard.
My neighbors Lad and Sandy are good people.
Lad works a lot outside and Sandy sits on the porch a lot.
We have chickens and they sometimes go into his yard.
He doesn't like this so he bought this spraying thing that scares them away from his seed for the birds.
He kept it there for sometime but then he planted some grass right on the border of his yard so he moved it over there to spray the grass.
But here's the thing he doesn't just make it automated so like every minute it sprays his seeds, he makes it spray every time the sprayer senses movement.
He also put a orange rope up and planted flowers to show the border.
I know there is a scripture that says you should love your neighbor but this was going too far.
I needed to get to work, I took a pitchfork and started turning the soil to get it ready for planting.
Then I got some wheat berries.
I planted them right on my side of the border right by his grass.
While I was planting I sang this song.
And I forsaw I couldn't do it on my own I need to pull the weeds.
I sang it A LOT.
Then I started watering them.
I accidentally put some seeds in his yard, He got really mad and I ran inside.

Day 1

So after the first day they started grabbing the dirt and growing roots.
I kept on watering them.
Then Lad moved his spraying thing closer to our property and now I got mad.
When I checked for eggs the thing started spraying and scare the chickens from eating food in their coops. (I got wet too)
Then I got some worms and put them with the wheat berries.

Day 2

So some bad news for day 2.
Everything GONE!
It looked like it had been clawed out by some sort of bird.
My first thought was the chickens but then I am like no they were in the chicken coop all night and they just got out they couldn't have eaten it that fast.
I was DEVASTATED!
Could it have been Lad?
I walked away from the seeds and started walking to the soccer net.
Then I saw a bird in the tree that I haven't seen before.
That's it I said.
I ran home and told mom the bad news.
I told her that it could've been a weird bird I saw.(I wished right then that I took a picture of it)
She walked outside with me and we went to ask my grandpa who worked a lot outside.
He said that it must have been the chickens because he had seen them behind the chicken coop.
Then when I looked at it again it did look like the chickens had been clawing at the dirt.
Then after an hour or so I went and started planting more seeds.
I made sure I stepped really hard on them this time.
Then I watered them really well, then my sister put some dirt on a small part of them that were in between some roots

Day 3

When I woke up again next morning I ran downstairs and out the door.
I sprinted to the seeds, they were all gone again, even the ones with the dirt on them.
I was getting mad, there was not one seed left.
I told mom again and this time we decided to put a lot of dirt on them.
So I put some more seeds there.
Then I spent my morning digging up dirt with worms and other bugs in it and put it on the seeds.
Once I was finished I couldn't see any of the seeds.
I jumped on them with all of my might and then I sprayed them with water.
I was sure it would work this time.
But just to make sure I filled up a jar with wheat berries and put some water in them, then I put a sprouting lid on them.
Then I went outside and slept on the hammock.
The crows were loud and they woke me up a few times.
Then I was awakened by the sound of a stick banging something.
Oh what could it be this time.
I looked out and I saw Lad and his grandson banging a stick against a tree.
I SWEAR they were doing it on purpose to wake me up.
I ran out of the hammock and went inside.

Day 4

I slept in the next day and then I had some breakfast.
Then I went outside and of course all of the wheat berries were gone AGAIN!
I was out of Ideas.
The only thing I could do is grow the seeds in the jar and then once they have sprouted I will put them outside.
So I drained the seeds put more water in and left them outside.
Hopefully this would work.

Day 5 and some more days

So we went on a hike the next day and I was feeling down and everything but then at the ending of the hike Mommy found a worm!
I was so excited I could put these worms in a bowl of dirt and then plant the wheat berries.
So after I had gotten like ten worms we drove home and I quickly dug outside and put the dirt in a glass bowl so I could see the worms tunnels and the roots of the wheat grass.
I put the worms in and put the lid on top of the bowl overnight.
The next day I put the sprouted wheat berries in the bowl.
Then I waited.
The next day they weren't getting any roots or anything.
My dad told me to put dirt on top of them so I did.
Once I had put dirt on top of them I watered them.
Then I waited again.
Then after a couple of days they started growing roots and the grass started growing.
I was so excited.
But THE NEXT DAY.
I put them outside to get some sun and my Grandma came in and said "The Chickens are eating the Grass!!"
I was so mad Mommy told her to get them inside fast.
She put them inside and thank goodness they were not eaten.
The next day It was raining and we put them outside on the bench.
Then it was Sunday the next day and we raced to get to church on time.
When we came back the chicken was on the bowl that was on the bench eating the worms and the wheat berries.
I scared the chicken away.
Most of the wheat berries were gone but the ones that had grown big were still there.
This time we put them on the raised bed garden where they could get sun and rain and the chickens could not get them.
Hopefully they would grow now.

Day like 20

So now they grew but the grass didn't fill up the bowl like I wanted it to, but at least they grew, I was happy. It didn't work out like I wanted but those wheat berries have a whole story behind them now.

Calpurnia Tate

So we have recently been reading this book called Calpurnia Tate.

It is about this girl with a lot of brothers.

She is very interested in animals and science, she has a grandfather that teaches her a lot.

He showed her how to make a barometer which I made afterward.

It tells you if the weather is going to be good or not.

It is a fun book they tried raising blue jays and an armadillo!

The barometer helps a lot.

You make it by putting a balloon on a jar and the keeping it there with an elastic band.

Then you tape a needle to a straw and glue it to the balloon on the jar.

If it is bad weather the needle will point up and if it goes up it will be good weather.

New Zealand

So when the slaves from Australia were done they went to New Zealand and starting building houses and making colonies.

They called themselves Maori which meant ordinary people.

They called the British Pakeha which meant white strangers.

Well they were nice people there and they traded stuff for guns from the british and they used them to catch game and to fight one another.

There were a lot of different tribes and they fought a lot.

But New Zealand had no laws and they quarreled with one another about land and other stuff like that.

They wanted Great Britain to pass laws to new Zealand so they could live in peace.

But the British said they couldn't do this because they didn't own New Zealand, but if they signed a treaty so that they could own it then they could pass laws for New Zealand.

Some of the Maori leaders came and signed the treaty, it said that the English would control new Zealand and would protect them from people and the Maori would do as the English say.

But after a little bit the Maori wanted to sell some of their land but the British said that they would have to sell it to us first and then they would sell it to other people.

The Maori said this wasn't part of the treaty but then the British showed them there part of the treaty it was different it said they would do what ever the British needed.

The Maori didn't like this and they started cutting the British flag off.

The Governor who lived there was afraid that they would fight them, so he went to Australia.

Then the Maori saw that the city was deserted so they set it on fire.

Then the British came from the south and started fighting.

But the Maori built trenches so they could shoot with out getting shot.

114 British died in that battle.

The British got more men and they kept fighting one another.

Eventually the Maori gave up but they would never stop arguing until this day.

They had been annexed by the British without knowing it.

William Bentley

So way back when there was this farmer named William Bentley.

He lived in Vermont and always loved it when there was snow.

His mom got him a microscope and he loved to look small things like blades of grass, raindrops, but he always loved seeing the snowflakes the best.

When he got older his parents got him a camera and he took pictures with it.

He would go outside in the snowstorm while everyone else was by the fire and take pictures of the snowflakes.

He also sometimes when there wasn't snow falling got a grasshopper and tied it to a leaf.

Then in the morning when there was dew on him he took pictures of it.

When he got older he started giving away his work or selling it for a few cents.

He used all of the money he got to get more pictures.

When he was 67 he went around 5 miles from home in a blizzard to get pictures but he got pneumonia and died less than two weeks later.

They made a statue for him, he always loved detail and never missed a blizzard.

Valentines day

So today is valentines day.

Valentines day is really fun because every valentines we go and do a heart attack to our grandpa and grandma.

we do it while they are going out and getting groceries.

Then we cut out tons of hearts and then tape them to the walls.

Then we write things on the hearts to show them that we love them.

But the cool thing is that we write it in Bulgarian because my grandparents are from Bulgaria.

Then we leave quickly before they come and then they are very surprised.

I love valentines because it is a day to show that we love each other and that we can try to not use foul language and try to be nicer to people.

The thing I hate is that every holiday there is candy.

The big stores make up these stories that every holiday has to have something sweet in it.

I think this is pure stupidity.

Why try to kill everyone on valentines with sweets when you are supposed to love them?

I hope you have a good valentines and try to be kinder.

Snow

Snow, we love it but then again it is horrible.

I am going to talk about all of the benefits of snow now.

So recently it has been snowing a lot at are house.

We have had a blizzard and we have like 2 feet of snow outside.

It is really fun to play in, we play snow soccer, we sled, we have snow ball fights, we make snow men, we do a lot in the snow.

I really like how much fun it is to play in the snow but on the other hand it is very cold outside.

There is no grass to and the really hard thing is driving.

My dad came home the day of the blizzard and he barely made it going very slow inside of a 4x4 Land Rover.

Luckily he made it safely home.

But some other people are not so lucky 24 percent of crashes are in snowy slushy surfaces and 15 percent is snowy icy surfaces (probably because they are going slower on the ice).

It is also really gross when the snow becomes slush and it get grey.

But it also looks magical when it is coming down from the sky, each snowflake with a different pattern.

Oh and I also have a little story that I wanted to share.

So me my brother and are friend went into are backyard when it was snowing, and we started climbing this tree that was right by are garage.

It was fun climbing it and once we got to the top we decided we wanted to go onto the roof.

So I went first and it was really tricky cause you had to hold onto the branch while swinging over this PU white tube and then you had to stretch out and get a foot on the garage.

Then you had to put your hands there and start climbing making sure that you didn't slip.

Well there were a couple of slips but once we made it to the top it was nice up there.

I thought we should sled down the face and land in the snow but we could also fall onto the path and that would not feel good.

So after a while we got down and found out that there was so much snow that you could get onto the garage from behind it and just walk on the snow.

there was like 7 feet of snow.

I like and dislike the snow but sometimes it's good to have a snow day.

3 x 3 x 4 cuboid

So I have been doing a lot of Rubik's cube solving lately I am pretty good at it and my fastest speed is 1 minute and 5 seconds.

It is probably faster now because I haven't timed myself in a long time.

Well this Sunday I went to church and one of my friends dad who is a Rubik's cube expert came to church with a 3 x 3 x 4 cuboid.

A cuboid is different than than a regular Rubik's cube because it has more layers or sides.

So it looked really weird at first and the sides could only move 180 degrees but the middles moved regularly. It was all messed up but the two white and yellow were solved.

the thing is that the white and yellow can not go into the middle and the middle pieces cannot go into the top.

It has 12 stickers on the middle sides but the top and bottom at like a regular 3 x 3 x 3 Rubik's cube.

Me and my cube expert friends tried solving it but with all cubes it is really hard to solve without instructions.

We could only solve the bottom layer and we gave it back to him but the let me " Bring it home and play around with it"

So I brought it home and I went onto the computer and tried to solve it.

It took about 2 hours to solve it because everything was so different from the 3 x 3 x 3 Rubik's cube.

but I solved it and I was so happy, I wrote down all of the algorithms and now am trying to solve it without looking at instructions.

I can't wait to see my friends expressions when they see that I have solved it.

Nike Magista opus 2 vs Adidas ace 16+ purecontrol

So today I am going to do a comparison on the Nike Magista opus 2 vs the Adidas ace 16+ purecontrol.

So the Nike Magista opus 2 has a pretty stiff upper made out of kangalite and has some bumps that have a nike skin upper on those bumps.

It is pretty cool and I really like the upper but it does need some break in time but has a great touch and is great for midfielders and defenders.

The insole is also cool because it sticks to the bottom of the shoe so it doesn't move.

The outsole is cool to because it has the 360" rotational turn.

It also has the ACC All Conditions Control, It is a wet control element.

Now for the Adidas Ace 16+ Purecontrol.

So the thing that stands out when you first see it is that it does not have any laces.

The upper is also stiff and features the NSG Non Stop Grip which is adidas's wet control element.

I also like that it comes with other insoles and with a shoe horn.

The string bag is also cool because it has two compartments for each shoe.

It also has great touch and has a clean strike with the no lace design.

I like both shoes for midfielders and defenders.

Recent things

So recently I have had a futsal tournament that I had to try out for and then the tournament started on Saturday. It was and hour and a half away and the first game was at eight.

We had to be there 45 minutes early so that meant that we had to leave at six am.

We made it on time but every time before the game I had to go number 2.

We won the first game and the second one but the second one that day was at 7 pm which was horrible.

Then the next day was Sunday and I had only one game at four which was better which we also won.

I usually play right back in the formation 2 2.

My mom also found out that she could use this thing called tallow which was animal fat and you could use it on your face and you could use it for frying things so they don't stick.

My mom cooked with butter and the egg stuck to the pan but when she used tallow it did not stick one bit.

We won the game on Sunday after going to church and watching the end of Manchester united vs Liverpool that meant that we were going to the semi final vs the Manhattan kickers that we lost to last time in the semi finals.

This time we won 6 - 4 it was a good game.

Then there was the final which was us GPS Ma red elite vs Brazilian United.

They score the first goal and then I scored my first goal of the tournament with a volley.

Then after half time it was 9 - 5 for us.

But then they started scoring goals with ther to giant people.

At the ending it was 9 - 9 and we went to pk's they scored their first one and then we scored ours too but the goalkeeper pulled the ball back onto the line and the referee's called it no goal then they scored again and then the same thing happened again like the first one and they won.

It was really sad afterward some of the players were crying.

we got are medals and then we went home feeling that we should've done better.

When we got home my knee was really hurting because I slid a lot on the wood and now it hurts a lot.

This was a learning experience and I hope that we can do better in futsal next weekend.

and today I am going to play soccer with my new pure controls soccer cleats.

Getting cleats

So it is just a little bit after Christmas and I really wanted to get a good pair of soccer cleats.

So I have recently been getting some soccer cleats below there normal price and then selling them on ebay. So far from doing this business I have gotten $120, and I have gotten $100 from Christmas.

I could use this money on any kind of soccer cleat I wanted pretty much except the most expensive soccer cleats.

So I was looking on ebay and I found these cleats that were used but they were the ace 16+ purecontrol in the stellar pack color way size 8.5. I really liked them so I went on ebay and I could either bid $180 or buy them now for $200. This was a pretty good deal and they were real.

So I bidded $180 for them and I waited.

And then after my practice session that night there was like 5 minutes left.

Then we went into are car and went to fill up gas and then when there was 1 minute left someone bidded a little bit more.

Then we bidded again but at the end they one the bid at $225.

I was really mad because I could never find that cleat again.

But then a Couple days later I was searching for cleats and I found one that was a older color way and sz 9 but it only costed $210.

I checked it out and when I put it in my bag it said that it was out of stock I got really frustrated but when I looked back I saw that I had one item in my bag I looked at what it was and it was the PURECONTROLS.

I must have double tapped and that was the last pair.

I checked them out and now they are at my house a brand new authentic pair that are half a size to big but will be perfect for spring and fall.

I realized that in life you don't always get stuff the way that you want it or right when you want it but sometimes something better comes maybe a little bit later and now I am glad that i did not get the used pair and heavenly father helped me get the right pair of soccer cleats for me.

Futsal

So I really like playing soccer but there is another sport that is somewhat related.

It is called futsal.

It is played on a small hard wood floor and small nets and of course a smaller and heavier ball.

There are only 10 people playing at once on futsal.

1 keeper and 4 field players.

To have more control over the ball you should trap it with the sole of your foot.

You play the game a lot quicker and you don't have much time on the ball, so if you have a shot and don't have enough time to load, just toe punch it it, works really well because the ball is heavy.

I have a futsal tournament this weekend with the GPS new England regional futsal team.

There are a few formations that you can play, a 2 2 a 1 2 1 a 2 1 1 or even a 1 1 2.

It is really fun because you can do a lot of flicks and there are a lot of goals.

I am a little nervous for the tournament this weekend but I have played futsal before and I hope to play great.

I recommend you try to play futsal sometime.

Tom Sawyer

So recently we have been listening on this app called Hoopla.

We have listened to a lot of stuff but the most recent is Tom sawyer.

Tom sawyer is a mischievous kid.

I liked when they went to smoke for the first time they started to throw up and feel really sick, so that shows you that smoking is just horrible.

My favorite part is when Tom and his friend Huck wanted to try and get some treasure.

They found this awful man Injene Joe in the haunted house looking for treasure.

He got the treasure and he said to his friend that his base was number 2 underneath the cross.

So the boys looked under the cross and soon they found that it was a tavern and when Tom went in the tavern at night he saw Injene Joe sleeping with tons of beer around him.

He ran out yelling run for your life.

Later they went into a cave and Tom and Beccie thatcher were trapped inside because there were so many tunnels but then finally they were found.

After that they said that the treasure was in the cave and that they should go get it.

It turned out to be $12000 in the olden times but now it is worth a lot more.

Then you can read Huckleberry Finn which is Huck's life after that.

I would recommend this book to you.

New pots for new year

So recently we have been researching about pots.

The copper ones are said to be really good because they don't send bad chemicals into the air and doesn't peel.

The stainless steel pans also don't peel and are great for cooking.

But the non-stick pans are not good because they do peel and the stuff that peels off goes into your food.

We got Mepra stainless steel pots and one All-Clad stainless steel pan.

We also got something called Barkeepers friend that helps take the food off and cleans the pots very well.

Another good thing about the Mepra pots is that the handles are hollow so that they don't get hot.

They also look very cute, they are like little chubby pots in king Arthur the animated movie when the wizard cleans all of the pots and dishes and pans by magic.

Another good thing about them is that they have measurements on the inside of the pot to know how much water or anything to put in there for a recipe or something like that.

But they are pricey they can get up to 1,200 dollars.

But we got them on a good deal.

I would recommend these pots because they are healthy, look nice, and don't get to hot.

Also don't cook at high heat with these pots because then the bottom will burn, but this is good because it teaches you to cook on lower heat.

Yoga and Meditating

So recently I have wanted to become a little bit more flexible.

It would help with soccer and not getting injuries and just feeling better.

So I have been doing yoga every morning for about 15 minutes.

Then I would play soccer.

I am not flexible now but I hope to get more flexible by the time the soccer season starts.

I have also been meditating.

It helps relax you and it helps you get better at doing yoga because you need to take deep breaths and relax in yoga.

I really like doing it, my body feels better after doing it and I feel ready to play soccer after.

I like doing the yoga before my soccer routine because then my muscles feel all stretched and ready to go.

I will also be able be safer in soccer to not pull any muscles.

I feel better and more relaxed and alive and ready to go on with the day.

It is always good to stretch wherever you are if you are sitting down reading or waiting for something.

Meditating also helps with stress and just helps you think clearer.

I recommend doing yoga and meditating to feel better.

New Year

So the new year has just started and so far it has been great.

I have played some soccer and read and made some awesome goals.

This year I did my goals a little bit different.

I did things that I was interested in that I was committed to do and daily goals.

So I based my daily goals on the things that I was interested in and that i was committed to do.

One of those goals that I put on was to get five black balls in PES.

The black balls indicate a player that you are going to get.

The black is the best then the gold is second best then silver then bronze and at last there is white.

To get good players you need to earn gp and to earn gp you need to win games.

So to not stay in front of the screen that long I found out a way that you could earn gp without playing the whole game.

So you go into the com challenge cup and you select the novice challenge so that it is on beginner then you score one goal and then give the ball to your keeper so that the time can run out.

I have been doing my daily goals pretty well they are Writing, Exercising and stretching, reading history and fantasy books, mathematical problems and logic puzzles, and learning bulgarian with my grandpa.

I like setting goals and doing them.

The match window

So lately I have been doing a lot of puzzles.

In including the Rubik's cube which I can solve in under 90 sec.

Brain teasers and logic puzzles.

I also got a few wooden puzzles including a diamond cube, an X in a box and the mouse trap. I have solved all of them except the diamond cube.

I just did a puzzle that was with match sticks and this is what it looks like so you can set it up.

You have to remove 6 matches and there can be no hanging ones. At the end there have only 3 squares remaining. (I'll leave a hint at the end of this blog post).

I also got another cool book called FableHaven Book of Imagination by Brandon Mull where you can fold your own stuff and do riddles which is really fun. There is also a secret message about his next book, but you have to go through all the other ones to find it.

On my rubik's cubes when I started I didn't know how to solve it, but I saw my friend doing it so I figured I could learn. The night after I researched how to solve I found a way to solve it and then a couple of weeks later I could do it without looking at any hints and then a week after that I could do it in 90 seconds.

(Hint for match puzzle: The big square around has to stay there, so you only remove matches from the middle)
