The Basilisk lizard

Basilisk lizards can run on water! It looks a little like a dinosaur. When something scares it, it sprints across the water and find's safety. It almost runs 5 mph! The back feet are bigger than the front, it also runs on the back ones. It has flaps of skin between the toes and has fringes on the bottom of the feet, this helps it walk on water. When it hits the water with his foot it creates an air bubble, the air bubble pops but its foot is already gone and the other foot is hitting the water. It can not run on the water for long it has to take a break soon.
