The Elephant clock

So Al-Jazar was a famous inventer and one day he wanted to invent something called the elephant clock. It works like this. There was a hole in a bowl to make it sink in a tankard of water. So it slowly sank which made some pulleys make a pen move to write minutes. After half an hour the bowl fell to the bottom of the tankard of water. That made a rope attached to a seesaw mechanism in the clock. That made a ball fall out of the serpents mouth which made the guy on the elephant hit something to make a clang and also made the bowl reset and making the bird turn around in circles. The hours were written at the top of the clock.
